FROM THE #ARCHIVE:

In 1950, #Kootz Gallery invites three of their represented #artists#AdolphGottliebamong them, to select three works each by then-unknown artists for the #exhibition, “Fifteen Unknowns: Selected by Artists of the Kootz Gallery.” Adolph Gottlieb's inclusion of the artist #HelenFrankenthaler jumpstarted what would become quite an illustrious and distinguished career for this artist.
